Knitted Garments

Italian Acrylic Yarn made of 60% Polymid. 40% Tactel

Silk

Hand dyed Wild Tussah Silk, Wild Silk roving is first hand-dyed, then tuffed out onto a water soluble Vilene. It is then embellished with ribbon and yarn. The scarf is then stretched on a frame and freehand stitched all over. The scarf is then placed into boiling water and then hand washed 5 times, blocked and dyed.

Ribbon & Lace

25 different ribbon and lace yarns are hand-layed on a water soluble Vilene. The scarf is then stitched and washed 7 times to remove the Vilene and soften the ribbon and lace yarns.

Faux Fur

Knitted polyester with eyelash fur trim.

Shawls

Kid Mohair and Silk Yarn from Italy is knitted on the loom. Every 30 rows a hand dyed ribbon is woven in. The garment is then finished with the same hand dyed ribbon made into a fringe..
